2020.11.24 01:00 Chetdizzy A Cantor Fitzgerald Christmas

An email string for a merry Christmas, 2020:
---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: The Marriage at KNON <[email protected]> Date: Friday, November 20, 2020 Subject: Proposal To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Cc: ~60 recipients
Edie-Pie,
If you and Howie can have a real conversation with Donald about this PSA, then you can also consider it the formal Investment Banking application from the new spokesmen at the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund.
These two will donate all of their assets into it on Christmas Day, under the terms and conditions below.
Please also gather any media for my Folder. You and Howie will need a good Primary Dealer relationship, so Cantor Fitzgerald will act as the well deserved financial chassis here.
Just as losing mom and dad prepared us for the initial shock of 9/11, so nineteen years reveal our final instructions:
With the same force on Dec. 25, 2020, the 501(c)(3), Cantor Fitzgerald, its affiliates, and its families may participate in a brand new style of wedding. I scored front row seats. The only other invitees are those mentioned to this email string, many of whom you know.
These terms expire in 72 hours.
I love you, g

Sorry about the delay. Comments look good: we prefer ten weeks without commercial interruption. Expect members of the group Tiger 21 to provide the escrow details.
We’ll need a date and time for the first hour, when Arash Mohomad P******* and James Robert Denke announce this new 501(c)(3), its unique tax status, and the contents already outlined in “Episode 1”.
In a show of solidarity, we’re asking Genevieve Collins to participate in the audit. We’ll invite some bipartisan folks to join the panel she moderates, simultaneously surprising listeners.
Jack Van Wunnik on your floor is the CPA for any tax-specific questions you may have:
  1. This is a new legal entity, structured with existing frameworks commonly known as “trusts”.
  2. Consisting of one (1) trust filed within the legal framework of every country on Earth, this universal Trust (“Trust”) grows into a borderless government by the final episode of the wedding. Its population of internationally recognized, remote citizens proceed to normalize relations with existing United Nations governments.
  3. No one, including its founding team, may participate in the Trust until the final episode, when the Trust is formed. Afterward, any human being may apply to participate in the Trust.
  4. Applicants must pass one (1) stringent proficiency test, for which the Trust and its members prepare them to take. Those who participate in the series are exempt from the test.
  5. Any individual (“Participant”) accepted into the Trust will receive one (1) checkbook, one (1) debit card, and one (1) benefits package, including comprehensive healthcare and retirement coverage. Once activated, these items can be used to purchase any good or service at anytime.
  6. In order to activate the accounts listed above, Participants must access a universal web portal (“Portal”) and complete tax steps 12-15 below. Afterward, Participants may populate their personal folder (“Folder”) with images, audio, video, digital print and other media to document the principal engine of the Trust. As Intellectual property of the Trust, Media files will be timestamped chronologically as permanent, auditable records inside any Folder.
  7. Due to their storytelling nature, Folders may contain significant records of personal, business, travel, and other matters. Participants may not share these contents with anyone other than the Chairman of the Board (“Chairman”) of the Trust.
  8. Participation is life long. After the natural death of any Participant, the Trust will make the entire contents of the aforementioned Folder available for public review. This allows future Participants to explore dormant Folders to match their contents to current Folders. When a match is confirmed, the Chairman will notify one (1) Participant immediately.
  9. Participants may produce up to one (1) film and one (1) book using the publishing and editing software within each Folder. Approved works may be updated and republished periodically. The Chairman maintains sole discretion over which films and books may be shared publicly before any Participant’s natural death.
  10. Prior to being made public, Participant films and books must be approved by a face-to-face meeting with the Chairman. All Participants are required to film and upload any meeting to their Folders for review.
  11. The mission of the Trust is to empower low and middle income individuals to become Board Members (“Board Members”) of the Trust. Only those granted a Chairman meeting, pending confirmation by existing Board Members, may become Board Members themselves. All Board Members share equal voting rights within the Trust.
  12. Participants must submit tax forms to their appropriate local tax authorities (example: IRS Form W-4 for United States Income Tax), claiming exempt status for the period beginning July 20, 2020. Participants must notify all appropriate local, state and federal tax authorities of their exemption.
  13. Participants must also withdraw from social security, pension, healthcare, and dental plan accounts, usually funded through employer payroll. Business-owner Participants must do similarly with proprietor accounts, equivalent to those listed above.
  14. Participants may utilize any and all Trust assets at the Chairman’s sole discretion. Likewise, Participants must assign all private assets (if any) to the Trust. These assets may include banking, brokerage, business and otherwise financial accounts, deeds, titles, interests, certificates, financial instruments, rights intellectual property, and hard assets. Though they work in various professions,
  15. Participants must maintain an annual income of zero ($0.00) to sustain the chassis of the Trust. Additionally, all income must be directed to the Trust in order for each Participant to maintain no-income tax status. Income may include wages, business interest, investment interest, and other passive sources. Inquiries made by local tax authorities, or any other authority, must be directed to one of the remote offices of the Board of Directors (“Board of Directors”); its offices will open in New York City, Beirut, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Seattle, Riyadh, Tel Aviv, Shiraz, Toronto, Split, Prague, Lisbon, Kyoto, Chiang Mai, Kuala Lumpur, Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Lima, Medellin, Bogota, Mexico City, Houston, and Dallas, Texas.
  16. Two cofounders witnessed the creation of the Trust over two (2), consecutive 19 year periods. These are its only initial Board Members, announcing the public formation of the Trust. These initial Board Members are subject to full background investigations, including their private records, business interests, past relationships, careers, and transgressions, to which they admit sporadically throughout the series. Designed to help Participants inventory their own, transgressions are required uploads before additional files can be added to any new Folder.
  17. Both founders accept independent radio station KNON to broadcast ten (10) hours of the details of the Trust, its tax implications, its creation and subsequent storyline. During their broadcast, the cofounders will treat listeners and any questions with compassion and respect. The same will be requested of listeners. Panel questioning will be conducted in a timely, fair manner throughout the series, in order to encourage the fewest, unanswered questions at its conclusion.
  18. In the final episode of the series, each cofounder will execute the formation paperwork of the Trust, which has projected, worldwide Board Membership of only 55,555 individuals in its first year. The cofounders explain this ratio to listeners. Due to the vastly larger applicant pool size, the question Panel may only include those attached to this email or those called with direct involvement in the creation of the Trust’s first Folder. These may include some surprising individuals, including but not limited to: Genevieve Collins, George W. Bush, William J. Clinton, former secretary of Treasury Robert Rubin, former Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange Dick Grasso, former New Orleans Councilwoman Jackie Clarkson, Former Presidential Intern Monica Lewinsky, writers Judy Bloom and Elizabeth Sanders, Patricia Clarkson, Patrick Bateman, Paul Rudd, John Slattery, Benicio Del Toro, John Leguizamo, CEO American Airlines Doug Parker, CFO Southwest Airlines Tammy Romo, chefs Philippe Chow and Rick Moonen, Michael Mann, Gusmano Cesaretti, Wynton Marsalis, Naseer Shamma, Taj Mahal, Alan Braxe, DJ Falcon, Don Vappie, Trent Reznor, select members of Tiger 21, and among others, producer Mark Ellis, aka “Flood”.
  19. The series will be dedicated to Charles C. Bergman, the late Chairman of the Pollock-Krasner Foundation.
Working in those details, Episode 1 will follow the storyline shown in the string below. It may be best read as a disclaimer at the beginning of the series. Thank you Dave and Christian.
This will be great fun.

(“Agape”) in exchange for a live, ten hour broadcast titled, The Marriage at KNON (“Marriage”). Who is the escrow agent. The Marriage will air nightly from 9-10pm CST, during ten nights spanning from October 25, 2020 to November 3, 2020. These dates won't be possible. Do you want 10 nights in a row of a once a week broadcast ? Agape will provide current fundraising and/or profitability estimates for the existing 9-10pm time slots prior to the Marriage broadcast. Any funds raised in excess of two times (“2X”) the existing estimates for current programming during the 9-10pm time slots will be deducted from the amount payable to Agape. For example, if the current programming is estimated to raise $1,000 from 9-10pm on Oct. 25, then any amount raised above 2X $1,000, or $2,000, will be deducted from the $105,000. This incentivizes the Marriage to become more profitable than any show from 9-10pm CST, while still allowing for Agape to experience 2X upside prior to any deduction(s) from the $105,000. There will have to be guaranteed funds to start and a donate as we go arrangement moving forward. Agape is aware of the controversial nature of the Marriage. If for any reason Agape pulls the Marriage off air prior to all ten hours of broadcast, Agape forfeits right to all $105,000. This is simply to ensure the Marriage receives all ten hours of air time. Agape will need to know much more about what is the controversial nature of The Marriage and exactly what the content will be before entering into any agreement.Any programming content will have to conform to the laws of the United States and the State of Texas as well as regulations of the FCC regarding broadcasting and public radio broadcasting The Marriage will be allotted three live, in-studio sets from any artists of its choosing. One of these artists will be the rock band, Acid Tongue. The hosts may refer to themselves as The Prophet (“Prophet”) and The Lion (“Lion”), respectively. A portion of each segment may dial-out via telephone call to certain individuals. Agape will consult as to the best method and/or device to do so, in order to ensure quality audio for each phone call. A few of these calls may be international, and their costs may be added to the Marriage $105,000 payment. An in-studio wedding (“Wedding”) may take place at the conclusion of the final hour of the Marriage, as outlined below. All expenses associated with the Wedding will be paid by the Marriage. After the conclusion of the Marriage, Agape will email an itemized invoice within 48 hours to: [email protected]. $105,000, less any funds raised by the Marriage in excess of 2X projections (plus any telephone expenses) will be paid to Agape within 48 hours of invoice receipt. We will not bill on this arrangement. A non-refundable deposit will be required and the remaining funding recieved as air time is rendered. This is a highly unusual arrangement for us to be considering but we are willing to continue to review this proposal and will be able to make a decision once we have all of the details and our questions have been answered. No decision has yet been made by KNON to broadcast this. Thank You

Premise: Why do bad things happen?
On October 20, 2019, an EF3 tornado tore through KNON studios, bringing the station offline. As staff scrambled to broadcast a new signal, questions stirred inside the minds of some folks:
Why? How could the station deserve this? Was it a random event? Was it an act of God? If so, how could God exist and this happen to listener supported KNON?
Enter native Texans Arash and James. Friends since age twelve and former high school debate partners, these men are no strangers to tough discourse. They offer listeners a fresh lens to examine seemingly awful events through an ultra-modern love story:
Episode List (60 minutes each)
Episode 1: “1983” Four days after KNON’s first broadcast, a baby named Natasha was born. An atheist, she inspires the story that James begins to tell, one that he claims proves the existence of God. Arash, of course, doesn’t believe him, but as a non-practicing, Muslim-born man, he agrees to listen to his Jewish friend anyway. Since Arash spent a few of his younger years in examining all religions, he confidently takes notes to debate James, who is clearly in love with Natasha. They agree James may submit any evidence to support his case, including music and concert footage he’s gathered for their friendly debate. As the episode progresses, James sketches a cast of characters and events surrounding KNON’s first broadcast, his first piece of evidence being his own drowning and subsequent resuscitation in 1983. The episode ends with a listener challenge inspired by a Wynton Marsalis concert James attended in France.
Episode 2: “One Set for World Peace” Episode 3: “September 11, 2001” Episode 4: “Inauguration Day” Episode 5: “Acid Tongue” Episode 6: “Miracles” Episode 7: “The Tornado” Episode 8: “Covid-2020” Episode 9: “The Port of Beirut” Episode 10: “The Wedding”
Additional episode descriptions provided by request.
Dave (and Christian),
Thank you for taking the time to meet with James yesterday (and last Friday). We intend to self-promote this series and believe we can raise the donation amount listed above once we get rolling. We are also happy to meet with you to discuss the show in person.
We appreciate your consideration this Oct. 20.
Happy Anniversary, Arash and James (214) -* [email protected]

2020.11.17 17:50 IceFreezer304 [OC] Patrick Mahomes has more 4+ passing TD games than 14 other franchises have had since the 2002 realignment

This post was inspired by a picture I had saved in my camera roll from the beginning of 2019 ( https://imgur.com/aI9xX0H). I don't know where this picture came from, but it showed that Mahomes had more 4 pass TD games than 7 other franchises have had since 2004. I thought 2004 was a really stupid year to start from, and the stat is obviously not up to date so I want to see how it has changed since the beginning of 2019 (aka, adding the 2019 and 2020 seasons) and see if it was a blatant lie or not.
About halfway through collecting stats for this post I realized subscribing to Stathead on Pro Football Reference would've saved me like 5 hours of time, but anyway let's move on from that.
12 of Patrick Mahomes's 45 career games (including playoffs) are 4+ passing TD games. 2 of these are 5 passing TDs (Jets 2020, Texans 2019 DIV) and 2 of these are 6 passing TDs (Steelers 2018, Rams 2018). Without including playoffs, 11 of Mahomes's 40 career regular season games are 4+ passing TD games (the Texans 2019 DIV game is negated). I think including playoffs is extremely fair for this stat because it is a skill-based stat, and getting 4+ TDs in the playoffs is extremely hard and impressive.
So Mahomes has had twelve 4+ pass TD games. In just 3 short years, how does he stack up against entire franchises since the 2002 realignment (19 seasons, includes playoff games)? Let's find out:
Team 4+ TD games 4 TD games 5 TD games 6 TD games 7 TD games
Saints 37 25 10 1 1
Packers 35 29 3 3 0
Colts 34 26 6 2 0
Patriots 32 26 3 3 0
Chiefs 21 15 4 2 0
Broncos 20 16 3 0 1
Seahawks 20 12 8 0 0
Eagles 19 16 2 0 1
Giants 19 16 2 1 0
Steelers 18 10 6 2 0
Buccaneers 18 14 4 0 0
Falcons 16 15 1 0 0
Vikings 16 12 4 0 0
Cowboys 15 12 3 0 0
Chargers 15 15 0 0 0
Lions 14 10 4 0 0
Bengals 14 11 2 1 0
Texans 13 8 4 1 0
Mahomes 12 8 2 2 0
Bills 10 10 0 0 0
Ravens 10 6 3 1 0
Raiders 9 8 1 0 0
Titans 9 8 1 0 0
Washington 9 9 0 0 0
Jaguars 9 8 1 0 0
Chiefs (02-17) 9 7 2 0 0
Bears 8 7 0 1 0
Cardinals 8 7 1 0 0
Browns 8 6 2 0 0
Panthers 8 5 3 0 0
Rams 7 6 1 0 0
Jets 7 6 0 1 0
49ers 6 5 1 0 0
Dolphins 6 6 0 0 0
As you can see, Mahomes is above 14 franchises already in 4+ pass TD games: Bills, Ravens, Raiders, Titans, Washington, Jaguars, Bears, Cardinals, Browns, Panthers, Rams, Jets, 49ers, and Dolphins. He has double the number of 4+ pass TD games as the 49ers and Dolphins.
Additionally, Mahomes doubled the number of 4+ pass TD games the Chiefs had in just 2 years (7 in 2018, 2 in 2019, Chiefs had 9 total from 2002 to 2017). As part of this, he has made the Chiefs the 5th-best team in this stat (though there is a very wide margin between 4th and 5th place).
Mahomes also has more 5+ passing TD games (4) than 20 franchises, and more 6+ passing TD games (2) than 26 franchises since 2002. He does not have a 7 pass TD game yet, and only 3 teams do (Saints, Broncos, Eagles).
So that's how he stacks up against franchises since - what about other quarterbacks? All quarterbacks with more than ten 4+ TD games in their career (including playoffs) will be listed:
Player 4+ TD games 4 TD games 5 TD games 6 TD games 7 TD games
Drew Brees 39 30 8 1 1
Peyton Manning 37 27 7 2 1
Tom Brady 33 26 4 3 0
Aaron Rodgers 28 23 3 2 0
Brett Favre 24 20 3 1 0
Dan Marino 22 16 5 1 0
Johnny Unitas 17 17 0 0 0
Ben Roethlisberger 16 9 5 2 0
Eli Manning 14 12 1 1 0
Russell Wilson 14 8 6 0 0
Matt Ryan 13 12 1 0 0
Patrick Mahomes 12 8 2 2 0
Fran Tarkenton 12 11 1 0 0
Matthew Stafford 12 8 4 0 0
Andrew Luck 12 11 1 0 0
Sonny Jurgenson 12 9 3 0 0
Donovan McNabb 11 9 2 0 0
Jim Kelly 11 8 2 1 0
Drew Bledsoe 10 10 0 0 0
Tony Romo 10 7 3 0 0
John Elway 10 9 1 0 0
Warren Moon 10 6 4 0 0
Joe Montana 10 6 3 1 0
Mahomes is already pretty high on the leaderboard in just about 3 seasons worth of games. For reference, some of his contemporaries or rivals' stats: Watson (7 games), Jackson (4 games), Josh Allen (2 games), and Trubisky (1 game, 6 TDs vs the Bucs lmao). Surprisngly (to me at least), Daniel Jones also has three 4+ pass TD games already, and all of them happened in 2019.
Fun facts: Drew Brees has more 4+ pass TD game since 2002 than any franchise has had since 2002. When Peyton Manning retired, he also had more 4+ pass TD games than every franchise since 2002, and by a pretty wide margin too (he has 37, the highest franchise at the time was the Colts with 28 games). Even taking away Manning's games before 2002, it would be 34 for Manning vs 28 for the Colts. Even today, Manning is tied with the Saints for 4+ pass TD games.

So what is the moral of the story? Obviously Mahomes is ridiculous, etc. and if he keeps this pace he could be at the top of this list by the end of his career (and could, by extension, make the Chiefs the team with the most 4+ pass TD games since 2002). Mahomes and the Chiefs offense can accomplish in 3 seasons what many teams can't do in 19 seasons. The gaudy stats of the passing era these days should allow this stat to get even more inflated, whether it be Mahomes and/or other young QBs like Watson and Jackson that get to the top of these chart. This took longer than it should have for a stupid stat like this but I hope you enjoyed. Have a good day now.

2020.11.08 05:02 aceroyalty only aro around, y'know?

yooo so hey yall im aroace!! just needed to rant 🙄 uhhm where do i start. yea so im young and 100% sure im aroace. like ive always been aware i dont wanna date anyone and had the whole thing about not understanding why /the romos~/ were so caught up in dating and stuff, then in middle school when everyone (cause u know how kids that age are lol) talked about dating nonstop i straight up started saying 'im not interested in dating' to people 😂. then a couple years later i heard the term aro and ace and i was like '...yeah thats me LMAO' aannddd here i am :).
so anyway i've just been thinking about the people around me recently. i've got friends who are super cool and all that, and i go to a school with thousands of students my age, but theres just.. no aros. and its whatever, but i just think it'd be cool to meet someone who's aro who gets aromanticism, and understands that friendships aren't unimportant compared to romantic ones. like i just dont vibe with certain types of people at school... like those people who only talk about dating and how much they wish they had a bf/gf, and the ones who only talk about sex, and the convos about who kissed who, and whos dating who, and who cheated on who, and who likes who, and alla that i just dont find fun in talking about :)
and then recently i read a post on here (ill try to find it, it was in this feed 13d ago) that was about how this aro person said they found friendships way more important than most people. how they have to really like the person and connect with them to consider them a friend, while allos just consider most people they talk to a friend. and then the comments were a bunch of yall saying u agree, and then some of yall said its sort of an aro thing (for some of us anyway). and i really agreed with it bc that's how i am too.
and like i said im pretty young and already aware of what i would like in a relationship (qpr with another or more than one aromantic) and that im aroace, while most people find out they're aro later in life (like 20s, 30s, u get it) after years of dating and whatnot (not all of us tho, fellow teens in here i see u ahaha)
(btw, i understand finding out ones sexuality can be a lengthy process, im cheering yall on <3!)
but just in real life no one else is aro around here where i live 😅 and theres nowhere here i can meet some other potential aro friends. (and no i would rather not have online friends i barely use my phone and am horrible with keeping up with them aahhh)
anyway just needed to rant i guess. wish there was some app or somethin to meet other aros like there is 100s of dating apps. just want an aro friend or two who i can cuddle with and be a stupid teen with while i can yk 🙄🤚
was kinda tired when writing this, hope it made sense. hope yall have a good day !! :D

2020.10.19 17:01 xandax_freedom Hello Everyone ( NEW MEMBER )

Hello to all the lovely people of this subreddit, I just wanted to say that I ( 17M ) am new member ( i joined yesterday ). I completed my junior high this march and after that it being the quarantine period I had nothing to do, also the results of my exams were delayed for 3 months. I came to know about topic of sexuality and romantic orientation, I saw posts related to LGBTQ+ community and all. So eventually i started questioning my own sexuality, Figuring out my sexuality was a really difficult task and tbh I still haven't figured out what mine is, but it was easy to know my romantic orientation, which was aromantic. A little about myself. I had always been a shy kid, I didn't have much friends in school, through everyone used to talk to me. As a common experience, my guy friends used to talk about girls, and I didn't have even the slightest interest in. I have never had a crush ( a had specifically two fake ones just to be considered cool .. lol.) Though there was one instance where a classmate of mine acted like she was super into me ( in grade 8 ) but at that time I didn't give it much thought, it seemed weird to me idk. She too after some time stopped talking to me. Ironically this year ( final year of junior high ) she started talking to me again, so I too started to hang around with her, I don't know why I did ( probably because this time I found her sexually attractive ), but surely I had no plans of dating her. I just wanted to know her better. Some time later , a few friends of mine started to ship me&her. I felt quite weird and uncomfortable by that ( she was still sexually attractive but I lost all of my interest in her ). so I completely blocked her off, I didn't want any fake rumours of me and her spreading around. Some time later I found out she already had a boyfriend who was from another school.( I didn't understand why she did that ) but this incident gave me a clue of my aromanticism. This was a small incident from my side. I also wanted to share that I think I am mostly straight but sometimes I do get sexually attracted to handsome boys as well something like 70:30 or else. hence I decided to give myself more time on my sexuality but I am sure that I am aromantic.
1 quick question: Is a hetero-sexual aro considered an aro? And are they part of the LGBTQ+ ?
If you have read this completely. Thank you very much .... hands pressed together..... And I am grateful I found such a great community of great people who are like me. I always thought why people are so fascinated about this love concept but I never got it. I thought maybe one day after meeting someone "SPECIAL" I will find out but that is not the case anymore... Thank you all Love you No Romo ...winks...

2020.10.10 17:57 Blackchaos93 I was telling a younger fan about Romo, felt like copy pasting here to see what y'all think.

"It's a fight for best QB to never win the super bowl between Dan Marino and Tony Romo.
TL;DR - "Dez caught it" from memory and why Romo is one of the best QBs to never get MVP/superbowl.
The worst part about being a Romo fan/believer was that his best chance at a super bowl/MVP was lost with huge controversy. It was the Divisional Playoff on January 12th, 2015. I don't even have to lookup the date because part of me is still sitting in that bar in disbelief. Tony was having the season of his life. He even mentions it in his 30-for-30["A Football Life"] that he was really hitting his stride after a few years in the system. IPhones had a cool feature where you asked siri "Who is the best QB in the NFL?" and she would say Tony Romo. His QBR in 2014 was insane, he was going to win MVP it seemed. Down by one possession, it was 4th and a few yards with only a few minutes left in their own half. Any other team does a short run/pass. Tony goes for magic and heaves what must have been a 50 yard bomb to Dez Bryant only a few yards outside of the endzone. Dez instinctually reached out for the goalline and the ball left his hand when he hit the ground. It seemed obvious, the ground can't cause a fumble so at worst we were down at the 1.
Turns out the refs say he never controlled it. The league would later double down and agree that it was not a catch. To this day, I still don't completely understand why he "doesn't have control" considering that Dez clearly makes a football move for the endzone. Alternatively, Dez should have just fallen at the one and not tried to score? Focused on securing the ball? Nowadays, there's been some slight change to the rule wording that makes it a legal catch. But as it stood, the catch wasn't a catch. And it was a turnover on downs. Rodgers gets credit for the comeback against a Dallas D known to give up the ghost, earns MVP because of it, but turns around and loses to a Seahawks team that Dallas had already beaten that year.
Romo earned MVP that year regardless of that game, I'm still mad enough about that. However had that not-a-catch been a catch (like we all agree it is now) Dallas would have then gone on to face a team that they had already beaten, which is a solid chance at the super bowl.
The next season Romo was much the same. He led one of his quintessential comebacks in week 1 versus the Giants, and seemed poised to have another MVP caliber season. Watching Romo at his peak was a thing of beauty because he finally got his body to catch up to his mind. His audibles were a thing of beauty and he had a way of evading tackles - I still think about the time JJ Watt got both hands on Romo but he still got away and threw a perfect TD.
It was the very next week when an Eagles defender illegally roughed the passer slammed Romo and broke his collarbone. Tony would work hard to come back, but he wasn't ever the same MVP caliber. There was a back injury he had to fight through somewhere in that time but he eventually suffered a nearly identical tackle that broke his collarbone again that ended his football career.
A nice silver lining is knowing that Tony now gets recognized for his football genius. He is the highest paid NFL broadcaster, and easily the most enjoyable to watch explain the game. He has a solid chance at being the best NFL broadcaster of this generation, if he isn't considered that already.
If you've made it this far, thanks for reading. All of this has been from memory so sorry if any facts are wrong, it's all highly google-able and I would recommend Tony Romo's 30-for-30 ["A Football Life"]
EDIT: Since writing, I googled the specifics of Tony's season ending injury. It wasn't the 2nd collarbone break, that was another 2015 incident and he came back from that. It was the back injury in 2016 preseason + capable replacement Dak that ended his playing career. Leaving it incorrect in the OP for honest memory fidelity.
EDIT #2: Romo does not have a 30-for-30 sorry for the false alarm. It is an episode of "A Football Life" that is 30 minutes long lol. shoutout to u/quiksurf68 for the correction. shoutout to y'all for the good discussion. Glad to hear I'm right that Romo is in the conversation for top, but not best. TIL!
EDIT #3: Back to desktop. Watched the play Romo broke his collarbone week 2, 2015 and it wasn't a foul. Shitty coverage by the backup on the OL and a questionable hit, but no foul. All this nostalgia made me want to find:
*this speech by Michael Irvin about Romo post-game just the week before.
*this article in Sports Illustrated about Romo dated December 3rd, 2013

Team Notes
Astros Greinke started the year strong, posting a 1.84 ERA in his first five starts, but he had a 5.73 ERA over his final seven outings of the regular season. The veteran right-hander went 0-2 with a 4.68 ERA in five starts for Houston in the 2019 postseason.
Twins Maeda finished 2020 as MLB's qualified WHIP leader (0.75) and would have been a Cy Young Award front-runner in most years with his 2.70 ERA and 80 strikeouts. He'll make his first playoff start since 2016.
